Uppingham is the smallest of only two towns in Rutland, and is situated on the A47 between Leicester and Peterborough.
This market town has a population of around 4500, and is a place of pubs, antique shops, secondhand book shop, and tea rooms.
It is in close proximity to Rutland Water, the largest man-made lake in Western Europe (3100 acres).
Uppingham is also famous for its school.
