Shepshed- Click here to view larger image
Shepshed is in the Charnwood Borough of the County. With a population of around 13000 this was until recently claimed to be the largest village in the UK. It is now designated as a town. With close proximity of the M1 Motorway, Shepshed is now a dormitory town for Loughborough, Leicester and Nottingham.
As Loughborough is close, several calls are to assist station 20 or for standby cover.
