Moira is a former mining village in North West Leicestershire in the heart of the National Forest.
It is the home of the 120 acre Conkers discovery centre on the former Rawdon colliery site.
Main risks are a chemical factory and the A42/M42 road.
It is also located near to the Derbyshire border, so a few over the border calls are received.
