This site is the "Official Enthusiasts Site" of the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
It has been designed and is maintained by the Webmaster of the original Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service website, which was launched back in 2001.
Due to the Service needing more control over web content, in 2005 it was decided to have a new site (www.leicestershire-fire.gov.uk) which would contain all the legally required content and other documents and be maintained internally.
Alongside this it was felt a less formal site was still required to cater for the many enthusiasts and supporters of the Fire Service, so this site was launched.

We do not intend to bog you down with terms and conditions, but please remember this is intended as an enthusiasts site and should be treated as such.
It is maintained by volunteers and information will be updated as and when possible, and we cannot guarantee that all information contained herein is correct at any particular time.
