Equipment at Melton Mowbray Station
Melton Mowbray fire station have two fire appliances, call signs 211 and 212.
211 is the "Rescue" pump, and carries extra RTC (Road Traffic Collision) equipment, including high and low pressure air bags, exra lines, glass management and sharps equipment.
It also carries a Light Portable Pump.
212 Carries a PPV (Positive pressure ventilation) fan, which assists in ventilating smoke logging from properties.
